Dear Team, I am using SureTrigger to automate actions after a SureCart Order. Can you add the "add tag" to the API so that I can add a tag based on the purchased product, instead off pushing a customer to a new list?

It would be great if buttons, and/sor link, inside an email can add a tag to a user when being clicked.
Example: I send an email to my whole list, describing a service we offer. There is a button that says "Click here if you want more info" that will send them to the landing page for the service. When clicking it, a Tag should be added to the subscriber so that we can segment them, and also start an automation with further info about the service.

What's equally vital is the ability to choose that an Automation will run when a Tag is added to a CURRENT subscriber. This should be basic functionality.

It would be great to be able to include Tagging in Elementor Form Actions After Submit.

It would be usefull to have the option to export tags data together with the subscribers export.

This week we released version 4.21.0 which allows bulk adding and removing tags on the Subscribers listing page https://github.com/mailpoet/mailpoet/releases/tag/4.21.0

Ján Mikláš But adding a Tag to an existing subscriber won't trigger automations, correct? Triggering Automations is a critically important feature of Tags.

Tagging through the API is something I really need

There should be a general interface in the plugin to add/edit/delete tags. As far as I can see, currently there is only the option to add new tags while editing a contact or form.

Devs, can you provide an actual update on what you’re doing to address this 3 year old request? This is an incredibly basic function and I hope an update that properly addresses it is planned for release soon. I think it’s a shame it took so long to get to.
Why are you so focused on woo commerce? Unless you have a huge team and can dedicate specific members to those WC specific updates, you should be focusing and prioritizing creating a proper email marketing platform before you’re doing that stuff. I find it frustrating that you admitted you’re prioritizing woo commerce over stuff like this. It’s a distracting rabbit hole.
Not only that, many of us don’t use woocommerce, and don’t want bloated plug-in that has a bunch of features we have no use for. Why didn’t you break out the woo commerce functions into a separate add-on plug-in so people can add that functionality if they want (since it’s in no way an implied relationship to your core plugin function)?
You shouldn’t charge customers retail price if your software is still in beta format. Get it together.

If I can't Tag subscribers based on a segment, then Tags are pretty useless to me.
