If I can't Tag subscribers based on a segment, then Tags are pretty useless to me.

Yes, in case we missed this... I think we need tag data included in SUBSCRIBER EXPORTS!!!

Hey everyone, thanks for your helpful feedback!
Just wanted to let you know that between July and October we released the initial version of subscriber tags and a number of improvements.
You can currently tag subscribers manually, and automatically tag imported subscribers or subscribers subscribing through a form.
You can also send emails to tagged subscribers by creating a subscriber segment (MailPoet > Lists > Segments).
If you're interested in trying it out - the feature is now available on MailPoet versions 3.100.0 (2022-10-03) or newer.
Manual bulk tagging is not yet available, but we're aware of the need. We also plan to support automated tagging in later versions of the upcoming Automations feature.

Tautvidas: I need Tag can be a Trigger, infusion soft can do that easy. Are you have processing update it?

I'd also like to be able to Select multiple subscribers and apply a TAG to all at once.

Good idea! I've upvoted it. Would you mind taking a look at my feature request for a Campaign tab and consider upvoting it, as well?
Thanks!

I'd like to tag my customers based on the attributes of products they buy.
Use case example: A customer buys XL shirts, I'd like this person to be tagged based on this. Same with colours.

if you group links from a newsletter in segmentation with tags as a topic, then you could use that tag as an interest when segmenting subscribers.

Tags are currently planned as part of automations later in 2022

This is still under Review?? Please can MP explain what the review process is. It would seem with this many votes and being a feature most if not all the main competitors have that the review process would have been over by now...
