Show Popup form on click

It would be useful to be able to trigger the popup form by clicking on a button. The popup form would need to allow the designer to specify an anchor name that they can then use to attach to a link or button. The form can then be inserted using the other controls (all pages, all posts, specific pages, specific posts, via shortcode, etc) but the trigger would be limited to the click event.

Frustrating that this isn't available

I need it too! It would be very useful for some buttons in a landing page.
A use case would be:
- You offer something free like with a button like "Watch free webinar"
- When user clicks it, the MailPoet's popup appears and ask for email
- When user submit it, it redirects to the free content and algo enter into an automation.
That would be great! Thanks!

Hi! And news? This function is great!
Tautvidas
Hello Roberto Cliento, thanks for checking in and sharing your feedback!
At the moment we are not looking into this feature, but to help us better understand your use case, could you please share an example how you'd want to use showing popup forms on click to achieve your business goals? Thanks!

Tautvidas: simply in a landing page, with a subscribe button that open a popup. I use this function from year and conversion are better than simply put a form. But till now I have to use optinmonster but... why using another plugin if Mailpoet already have the form.
Elementor to has this function
Optinmonster has this function
It's a pity Mailpoet doesn't have it

Tautvidas Hello, a question regarding the pop-up window that could be organized or adapted so that in the cell phone view it appears at the top of the screen, since I implemte it but it appears below the main image of the blog and it does not adjust, like can I solve?

It's clearly needed !

This would be most helpful. Would save having to install additional plugins etc. Is doable now too, but with workarounds/plugins. Would just make life easier.

Enventhandler for click on button on popus needed!
Travis Pflanz
It's not possible.
Here are two workarounds:
• You can link to a full "Newsletter" or "Signup" page that includes the form.
• You could also drop the MailPoet form shortcode into a popup maker plugin, such as - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-popups-lite/ - The Free version of this plugin will do what you need.

Travis Pflanz: The problem with your second suggestion is they limit you on the information you can use in your emails because they restrict custom fields from other forms. All you can use in your emails are name and email.
