Improve "Manage your subscription" selection

Anything that simplifies the recipients' experience is a good thing. Upvoted.

I've requested a Campaign Tab feature and if anyone reading this would take a look at that, I've even done a rendering of how it could look, and I would appreciate any additional thoughts you could contribute and enhance the request with.

The Advanced Filters with code snippets in MP docs — why not just add these as Settings we can check off in the MP admin area? Why do I need to add a snippets plugin and manipulate code to do something so basic that so many users will benefit from?

Is it possible to change the subscription pages at all? I am not able to delete forms, add or rearrange the order of the fields in any way.

Hello! I'm really enjoying using mailpoet. I run a small agency, I brought mailpoet to help agency clients. Just one client had some issues with mail list. Now mailpoet has blocked all my agency clients from sending mails, this is hurting their relationship with their costumers and they are holding me responsible for their loss. I'm asking mailpoet community to help by visiting the link and voting : link https://mailpoet.canny.io/feature-requests/p/change-spammy-rules

Ability to use the mailpoet subscription shortcode that just shows the list, not all the user information above, as I use this for already logged in users. I have manually created a streamline version.

We are working on small changes in "Manage your subscription" page, which will allow to better customize the page as well as add custom fields. However, no visual update or list categorizations from our side.

Ján Mikláš: So does that mean no plans for some lists to be hidden? So if i use the tool to provide important information about his profile via a specific list he/she can simply unsubscribe to that can they? The communication from this specific list has nothing to do with marketing and in my country therefore marketing/GDPR rules do not apply. Are you a global service provider? Or just for Europe? I'm confused. Cos most parts of the world don't have disastrous laws like the EU has with GDPR and thankfully we don't need to comply with this failed law. Very frustrating when companies sell products globally and enforce ridiculous rules on customers that have no need to be concerned with. All good and well to rave about a 99% delivery rate. Remember us, where the customers that pay you money?

I agree. Also, I have different types of lists, so I would like the ability to define the order they are displayed in, and even to have lists in categories.
In my case, I have a main digest email that needs to be at the top, and then daily reminder emails that need to be in order for each day of the week. It would be ideal to separate those with a heading between them.
These features seem to be common on the subscription management pages of many newsletters I subscribe to.
Amy
Yes please! Also the ability to edit the text. "Unsubscribe here, then simply sign up again" AND some kind of notification that the subscriber has been signed up again, either in an email or notification message.

This layout would be awesome. However I think you need the ability to make some private as some lists are not marketing they are customer service and very important and customers should not see them or have the ability to uncheck them, otherwise it will affect the service they receive.

I'd love to see some settings to configure the "Manage Subscription" page:
Mainly I'd like to control the Custom Fields on that page - which ones are displayed and maybe set some fields to read-only

Philipp Stracker: Agree.
I need to be able to restrict membership of certain lists. Also, I have a legal requirement to pass on some information.
Currently it seems that anyone can go to "Manage Subscription" and join any list.
Radio buttons would be fine if there were these read-only options:
a) User cannot join this list from the manage subscription page
b) User cannot unsubscribe from this list
Reuben Hochstetler
Adrian Walmsley: I had to ask before I found the setting but there is a setting in MailPoet to choose which lists should be displayed on the "Manage Subscription page". By default all the lists show up.
Go to MailPoet > Settings > Manage Subscription page

Adrian Walmsley
Reuben Hochstetler: thanks - I should have known that. So if I want to prevent someone unsubscribing (for example their role description means they have to be on the "Committee" list), I can hide the normal unsubscribe link and let them use the Manage Subscriptions to unsubscribe from optional lists they may belong to. Would that work?
Reuben Hochstetler
Adrian Walmsley: I believe they could always unsubscribe from every list but they could not remove themselves from a list that is "hidden". If they would unsubscribe from all, they would still be in the list but their status would be unsubscribed.
I added a feature request to change how MailPoet refers to email addresses. Currently they call all users "Subscribers" and that is confusing because they may be unsubscribed or unconfirmed. I suggested they call them "Contacts" instead. This is what MailChimp and Constant Contact refer to them as.
