Tautvidas what about sharing from the email itself? This is the more common workflow need.

Hi folks, sharing newsletters has now shipped in MailPoet 5.27.0, along with several other features: https://github.com/mailpoet/mailpoet/releases
Please give it a try and let us know if something doesn’t work as expected or if there’s anything we should improve. There’re more improvements and features coming in the next few weeks.
Also, if MailPoet is working well for you, leaving a review on WordPress.org would help us a lot: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/mailpoet/reviews/#new-post
Thank you.

Pavel Dohnal I'm trying to understand how I can use the feature, with MailPoet 5.27.0. At what stage is it configurable? In the newletter template? Any documentation link?
Help appreciated.

Hi manu.p: on listing page, there is now
Share
button which you can use to share the email. Additionally, when your subscribers click on View in browser
, they are also present with share bar on top.Photo Viewer
View photos in a modal

MailPoet Thank you for your reply.
If I’ve understood correctly (sorry to rephrase this, I just want to make sure I’ve got it right), since version 5.27.0, email notifications for new posts have included an email sharing feature, correct?
How can I configure the sharing destinations, or choose options other than or in addition to Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and email?

manu.p: public email sharing is for standard newsletters. Post notifications or automation emails don't have that, as they are more lifecycle and personalized per subscriber, and don't have a one single URL but in theory an infinite number of URLs (per every subscriber).
The sharing destinations are fixed to FB, X, WhatsApp and email. There currently isn't a way to add or remove any. I'd ask you to create a new feature request. Thank you

I will like a link for readers to be able to share the newsletter. Email to a friend, Share on Whatsapp, twitter, facebook.

Can do this with PrinterFriendly icons embedded. Works great!

Hi there, any chance to see this important feature request implemented in a reasonable delay?
And as wrote Tony Jenkins before, the unsubscribe/manage link should be removed from the mail when "Email to a friend" is chosen.

I thought there might be some kind of a workaround (at least for a newsletter for just one new post) that would be to create a button in my template, labelled "Send this post by mail" with a button link looking like:
at least for some testing, but so far this opens a new mail window (I'm using thunderbird) with to and subject fields OK but in the body [postlink] isn't replaced with the post link...
I'm afraid there's no solution this way, any idea?

Great idea; pretty tragic it's not a given feature in the software
